Well, seeing the "People to watch out for" thread, I figured I'd add my little side of things here, seeing if anyone had any kind words they'd like to say about any of the players out there.

I'll start it off with a thank you to Mazman and Zinar. I was struggling to get the Palborough Mines key (Trying to get keys for Kazham). I had already died three times there due to some rather stupid links, and was getting rather frustrated. I had killed maybe a hundred or so of the Quadavs and hadn't found a key yet. I had just arrived again, prepared for another couple of hours of farming, when these two ran by, amusing themselves with the huge train of Quadavs. They asked what I was farming, and when I mentioned I was looking for the key, they quickly invited me into the party and allowed me to lot on the key that was sitting in their loot. I said my thanks, and Zinar Warp IIed me back to Bastok.

Although it may not seem like much, when you've already died several times and have put hours into getting something without success, a gesture such as this really stands out.

Anyone else have any tales they'd like to share? :)

Sorry, missed them, guess I'm a bit blind. I tried doing a search of the forum to check for similar threads, but search is limited to premium members.

3?!? is that all? We have like twenty something "Watch out for X" type threads... why do we only have 3 positive ones? Further more, do you really have to be soo negative towards something so positive?

Excessive negativism only ruins the fun of the game. If you like to rant who is bad, then why play the game? If they are so bad, why do you even bother to deal with the game and those people.

Just play the game for fun.

Add:

I remember watching a comedy on an airplane about an ex-president running mayor for a small New England town against a utility shop worker.... It makes fun about how negative advertising and putting other people down work in campaigning... I guess people just REALLY love negative stuff so much that they even make fun of it in movies. o.O

Too many names><. It has to be someone who's stood out among all others..and that'd be hard to choose.
