FFXI is a huge game, we all know that, and there's a lot of helpful information all over the net, so I thought about a topic for links to help others out there.

NOTE: Some sites may repeat, and H.E.L.M. stands for Harvesting, Excavation, Logging, Mining

=GENERAL=

Allakhazam
http://ffxi.allakhazam.com
Good site, although it's not usualy up to date compared to other sites, it has user tips for missions/quests on the page usually.

Mystery Tour
http://mysterytour.web.infoseek.co.jp/ffxi/us
Really great site for synth information, quests that Allakhazam doesn't have up, and other good links.

FFXI Somepage
http://ffxi.cannotlinkto
Great site, good item database, mob lists, and lot of other information.

Official Final Fantasy XI Homepage
http://www.playonline.com
With SE only putting updates about FFXI on the site, I thought it should be posted here

Final Fantasy Vault
http://ffvault.ign.com/
IGN website, not much to say since I'm not a fan of IGN

=CRAFTING/GARDENING/H.E.L.M=

Hi-Ho Maps
http://www.hi-ho.ne.jp/gulif/ziq_topeng.html
Great information for those who do Mine, Log, Harvest, or Excavate.

Titanictus.com DiGIT: Daily Guild Item Tool
http://www.titanictus.com/tools/guild/
VERY well done database for all crafters about what today's current item is for Guild Points and to also a forecast for tomorrow's item

FFXI Craft Timer
http://ffxi.lokyst.net/timer/crafttimer.html
Good timer, caculates difficulty with an item you're crafting, and a map to what direction represents what element, few bugs and the clock is off by a day.

Pikko Pots
http://www.swapsonian.com/pikko/
Gardening database, not a huge fan of the site because of how Pikko typed it up in the Tarutaru language, but besides that, pretty decent.

FFXI Fishing Database - Clan Wind
http://www.clanwind.com/ffxi/fishing/
Great fishing site, tells what rod/bait can catch what, out of date and sadly looks like it won't get updated.

FishermanRods
http://www.fishermanrods.net/database_e.cfm
Nice site, seems to have the rod/bait combinations, not sure if it's up to date.

FF Recipe
http://www.ffrecipe.com/guildPattern.php?lang=en
Good site, with an item database for synths and how many items are needed each day for guild points

Dragonlair - FFXI Craft
http://dragonlair.a249thspc.com/modules/ffxi_crafting/
Another crafting site that includes printable charts

=MAPS=

FFXI Atlas
http://ffxi-atlas.com
Great site with a ton of maps, shows hidden areas, NM locations, coffer/chest locations, has a problem overlapping over other parts if you bring up NMs though.

Hi-Ho Maps
http://www.hi-ho.ne.jp/gulif/ziq_topeng.html
Great information for those who do Mine, Log, Harvest, or Excavate.

FFXI Chest/Coffer/NM Maps
http://www.speakeasy.org/~sticks/ffxi/
A japanese translated site with maps to NMs and Chests/Coffers, great maps and easier to read IMO compared to the ingame maps, doesn't include the CoP expansion though

BBE Maps
http://www.ffxi.blueelephantbrigade.com/maps.html
Good site for maps, maps can show quest info and chest/coffers.

=CALCULATORS/CHARTS/DATABASES=

FFXI skill capture
http://www.ausystem.org/~aushacho/gbox/ff/skill-e.html
Well done chart/calculator for every jobs combat/magic skills, includes caps for level 1-75, and each jobs rating with weapons.

The Clamming Kit
http://ffxi.lokyst.net/clammer/clamming.html
Really nice caculator for anyone here that does/wants to try clamming, although it doesn't tell the max weight you can have.

Clam Bucketeer
http://bucket.art-machine.com/
Another great Clamming site, includes a downloadable version to, also shows a map of clamming locations

FFXI Magic Database
http://twpa.net/ffxi/spells/
Good magic site, information on where to get scrolls.

Aden's Renkei Chart
http://www.adennak.com/renkei.html
A really well done chart for SCs, comes in both Acrobat and .jpeg formats

=CLOCKS=

Pyogenes Timer
http://www.pyogenes.com/ffxi/timer/index.html
Really good timers, give airship/ferry times,RSE calendar, and a few other things.

Mithra Pride Clock
http://www.mithrapride.org/vana_time/index.html
Not much to say about the clock, Pyogenes is better laid out IMO, but this one also shows Chocobo racing times

=MISC=

English Model Viewer
http://www.autm8.com/Folye_of_Windurst/
English model viewer made by Folye of Windrust, works exactly like the Japanese version (NOTE: You need the PC version of FFXI to use it or you won't see any models)

FFXI Gallery
http://www.ffxigallery.com/
Image uploader for your screenshots

Special Thanks: Amanada, Natael, Tigersoul, Fouldeception, and Aliiyah

If you have any other FFXI links please post them and I'll add them to the list.

This is a great thread - very helpful! Thanks for putting it on here and updating it. I think it would be a nice sticky.

I have found this site to be helpful when looking for treasure chests or Notorious Monsters
http://www.speakeasy.org/~sticks/ffxi/
Yes a lot of this info can be found here or on KI or Somepage, but if you only want info on NM's or Treasure Chests/Coffers - this is nicely put together. Half of the info on the NM's is in English and half is in Japanese - but you can figure it out fairly easily even if you don't speak Japanese.

Great thread Rate up for Corrderio!

So is there a way to go about getting this thread stickied? I think it is an excellent tool for Cerberus players.

Anyone have experience with this? Thanks!
#16 Jul 19 2005 at 1:28 AM Rating: Decent
I can't believe this thread dropped down to page THREE. Does anybody know how to get this type of thing stickied? I think Cerberus needs it. Of course...that is just what I think.

I have a few more sites of interest, some of them more useful than others:

FFXI Spell Database- The best thing about this site is you can type in the spell and it tells you where you can get it from. The bad thing - it doesn't tell you much more than that. That's what Allakhazam is for, right?

Anyway - it's amazing what some people do while waiting for version updates to finish isn't it?
