Has got to be the shale spiders, their tough as nails and their family special buff is great for leveling.

I've been loving my worm, though it's a pain in the *** to use a ghost worm underwater, I have a hard time keeping track of where it's at. And the new mend pet is amazing, I had 4-5 mobs on my wolf and he was getting rocked, threw on a mend pet and he easily went back to full.

I'm just using my wofl because I can't be bothered to tame something different (I tried the Deepholme worms but they're not tameable Smiley: frown)

I am loving my shale spider, too--I snagged a purple one. I like how they're nice and compact--nice change from a big-*** warpstalker eating up my screen. :) Found Jadefang, but I was 84, so I couldn't tame. Got the minipet off him instead.

The shale spider is awesome. Looks cool, awesome buff, and it's TINY compared to most other pets, which means you can actually see other things on the screen when you have it out.

And yeah, those deepholm stone worms should totally be tamable. Best worm model EVER!

If the deepholme worms were tameable I'd have one.
As of now my cat is tanking for me because stuff dies fast enough anyway. (switched to cat because cat > any other pet by 350-700 dps)

Now wouldn't spirit beasts be the same since they basically have the same skills?

Every 13 year old nightelf faps over cats and that's a large part of the hunter population so cats are often going to be the top pet.

Well if you're going to use a cat you might as well use the best cat skin in cata the skin I'm talking about is Sambas from the twilight highlands.

That's a pretty awesome to have a ******* lion! Those shale spiders do look pretty bad *** too, I haven't been to deepholm yet on my hunter, I still have about 15 quests to finish in Hyjal then I will be heading there.

There is also a new turtle in Hyjal, Terrorpene, that people seem to be craving, I think it must have some sort of animation to it.

I'm actually not too upset about cats being top, and I never used to like them. But my troll hunter is now stuck with a lynx for roleplay purposes, and I might as well get some use out of him!

I don't know, for some reason I prefer the mountain lion/panther look to tigers and lions. I spent about a week after 4.0.1 with my hunter camped out in Arathi staking out Araga six times a day, and I'm glad I did, because she apparantly disappeared in the Sundering, along with a few other rares...

I picked up a shale spider today...that thing is mighty annoying when it gets beat on. Sounds like a dying bird or something.

I think you'll find that Shango and Humar are the best cat skins in the game, tbh. Smiley: wink

I like my fox and my worm, though when I get to 76 I'll be taming Shango and using him as my DPS pet.

I've had a hunter as main since vanilla (three months or so before BC release, but still) also, I already have the shango model as my pet so there!

For tanking pet my Worgen is using a black boar for charge and thunder stomp.
Best cat skin = Echeyakee.
Echeyakee I am using in instances.
Edit: because I didn't address the OP.
