Rogue UIsFollow

#1 Dec 05 2010 at 12:48 PM Rating: Decent
Hi everyone. I would like to know a good set of UIs to use for my rogue. I mainly play this rogue on PvP and some occasional dungeons. I'm looking for something that will give me more screen "real estate" and at the same time make PvPing a bit easier. If anyone has screen shots and the such, I would greatly appreciate it. Looking mainly for compilations, but I don't mind putting them together myself.

Thanks!

My preferred UI as of late is RealUI from wowinterface.com (Yeah I'd usually hyperlink but I'm at work)

It's minimalistic and IMO one of the better UI's out there right now. That is until the newest KorzUI comes out but I've been waiting over a year for that :-p

Elv's revision on TukUI looks the best to me right now...
but I have a feeling I'm just going to end up with a bunch of random stuff (Pitbull, Bartender, Baggins, Quartz, Elkbuffbars, titan panel...)

Here is my latest. It is just a hodgepodge and probably more than most like, but it gets the job done.

You have a HUD and your unitframes are right below your HUD. You don't have FuBar or Titan (whatever your bar addon is across the top) set to auto-hide.

You also don't hide your bag and menu bars.

Easy enough to hide chocolate bars and bags. I think the unit frames are there from a time when the HUD wasn't clickable and I couldn't access things i needed by right clicking the unit frame.

How do you get to things like the dungeon finder and guild window if you don't have your menu bar showing?

Key bindings or have the bar show on mouse rollover.

/lfd and shift-g for me. J is also the default keybind for the guild window.

It's not too hard to deal without the menu bar or your bag bar.

Thanks for the insight. I never click the bags anyway, unless i am trading them out at the bank for empties on my disenchanter. I am just glad that after that frightening first post, that was all Theo found wrong with it. =D

Don't get me wrong, it's not a great UI, but I also don't want to stab my eyes out when I see it, which I want to do with 9/10 UIs.

Dominoes allows show-on-mouseover? Dear sweet baby Jesus (thx theo) I can't wait to get home and tweak my UI some more.
