Hey im new to the Death Knight class and i seem be stuck or confused... i cant seem to figure out how to get my dark transformation working for my minion. wtf do they mean shadow charges? and how do i do it?

I believe you get one charge per death coil. They should appear as a new resource under your player portrait, in the same way warlocks soulstones are displayed, paladins holy power, etc. If you are using a unitframe addon, you may not be seeing them correctly.

Once you have enough charges you can hit the "Dark Transformation" button to consume them all and transform your ghoul into a monster!

Using your Death Coil to heal your Ghoul (or any other friendly undead) will also add to the buff. Useful to know if your buff is running out and there are no hostiles nearby to throw a Death Coil at.
