Subtlety Build?Follow

Trying a rogue, made a quick build in Talented. http://www.wowhead.com/talent#fZhxhdofZebfzGhzzVzAbRt
Tell me if it's any good. I've heard all Subtlety is also good. Tell me. Don't give me any crap about "The best build is one that suits your play style..." blah blah blah. I've heard it all before, just on different classes. PvP builds, that will pwnage, that's what my play style is XD. I prefer Subtlety, though if this isn't a good PvP tree, then suggest. No flaming please, just good constructive criticism.

Dude...

Bro...

What the hell are you doing? Holy Jesus.

I'm not trying to flame, but seriously, you have no idea what's at all good in PvP.

If you're looking at Sub (which you shouldn't unless you're rocking stuff from ICC 25 hard mode), you're looking at 17/3/51 or 17/0/54.

More likely you have mediocre to decent gear like the rest of us, so you should be looking at mutilate: most people prefer 44/2/25 right now, using Envenom as a finisher and DP MH/WP OH.

Pretty much everyone who doesn't use an Envenom build uses an Evis build, 41/5/25 or something similar.

Edit: url tag fail. Smiley: facepalm

Well, now that I think about it, this build (how I've seen it) wasn't being used in BGs. It was in duels. Anyways, they pwnt just about anything with that Shadow Dance. I figured, with the short cool down, it could pretty much take down anyone with a little macroing and luck (for the extra combo points). but, hey, since I don't know what I'm talking about (which I don't. I'm level 13 and haven't been in a BG yet XD) I'll take any suggestions posted. Thx for answering so quickly. (Btw, this doesn't mean I wont be checking this post again. Go ahead and keep posting.)

Just one note then--please realize that just working down a PvP tree that's considered "best" at cap doesn't mean it'll even be good at your level.

Example:

Okay, say you are going to go Mut at endgame. And you are currently level 30. Well, you have a pretty massive problem in the fact that you don't have any of your tree defining abilities.

You'll lack:

Mutilate
Envenom
Wound Poison

And you'll need to have Crippling Poison on at least one weapon, which means you are down one poison slot.

But glance at the Sub tree. Speccing into it at a low level gains you some VERY useful PvP talents. Master of Deception, Elusiveness, Dirty Tricks, Camouflage. All very useful for BGs.

I don't know which level you should switch to your endgame Mut spec (You can get Mut at 50 and Envenom at 62).

Basically were I leveling right now, I would go sub to 49, then at 50 I would switch to mutilate.

My first two points would be in Imp SS, then I would respec at 30 to get Hemo and drop the two points in Imp SS. Then at 50 I would respec and drop Sub altogether and get mutilate.

Basically, builds at level cap are completely different than what you'll be taking when leveling as a DPS class; as a hybrid class, you're going to be taking a lot of the same points, as there's not as much diversity in the good talents.

Thx for all the help guys. It's nice going into a BG with some sense that your tree makes you a little better. Anyways, I'll do what you suggested Theophany. Switch to Mut at 50, go with Sub till then. Dual daggers sound good? Just a dagger in one hand? And on my weps, should I put the faster one in main or the heavy hitter (dagger wise)? Stick with daggers, dagger and sword, what? (Btw, just as a note, Dual daggers = ††. Or better yet, dual sided dual daggers = ‡‡. XD)

With Imp SS, you're going to be using Sinister Strike. Anything but a dagger will work best.
