I assume the cooldown of Penance will just be shortened accordingly. But it doesn't say that anywhere.

Trying to encourage me to use Heal instead of Penance. Possibly for a Penance-cooldown related reason.

I'm waiting patiently for the beta build to finish being deployed today so the new trees and what not will be up on mmo.

I think they pulled most of the CD reducing talents out. Disc is still fairly bloated and needs bit of work to help streamline the tree.

Heal to reduce WS is pretty cool though but could end up being more of a PvP tool.

Will comment properly once I've seen the actual new build.

On another note though,

This made me think. I wouldn't be too surprised if we saw a talent following the line of "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Chimera" for Hunters (what a totally baller talent name, btw), "Restless Blades" for Rogues or "Feedback" for Shamans - something that lowers the cooldown left on Penance by, say, two seconds for every Heal cast.

I think that would be kind of cool. As it stands now I'm generally throwing out Flash Heal between Penance's anyway. If one of the ways they accomplish their goal of having Disc rely on shields a bit less is by making doing other stuff more interesting, I think that's a better way to go about it than just finding ways to make shield less attractive.

Agreed. Give us fun things to do, rather than simply penalizing us for using a core ability. That only makes us want to switch specs (remembers nerfed CoH and abandoning Holy).
