At what point would you feel it's worth it to break the 4pc T9 bonus. I recently got an upgraded pair of leggings from ICC, http://wow.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?witem=50808

I use Divine Protection alot and I would be missing a good bit of use from it when the cooldown goes up again.

What are your thoughts?

When you say you use Divine Protection alot would you say you see yourself as a little trigger happy with it or are you in a situation where life and death moments are occurring very often and using it is non negotiable? If it is the latter keep the 4 piece. In ICC (taking into consideration the 30% buff) you should have plenty of effective health without it and the expertise gain isn't vital as you are on the soft cap already (with your SoV glyph).

Are you finding yourself running out of mana often? What is your threat generation like? Just curious after taking a look at your spec.

I use it a good bit on alot of the bosses in ICC as it seems I come a bit closer to death than I like at times, or I hover down around 25-35% health for bit which makes me nervous lol :) I may also be a bit trigger happy with it in general but hey, I figure if you have it and don't use it, what's the point?

Mana normally isn't a problem at all with Divine Plea. Threat could use a bit of help, which is most likely due to something with my spec aye. I've been meaning to adjust it but not really sure which way to go with it.

I would say the needed talents that you haven't picked up would be Vindication and Touched by the LIght. Vindication is the same as a Warrior's Demoralizing Shout and when this is placed upon a boss it provides you with a great deal of damage reduction (anywhere between 15%-30% per boss hit, depending on boss!). When combined with 5/5 Divine Strength, 3/3 Redoubt and 3/3 One-Handed Weapon Specialization, Touched by the Light is our best talent choice for increasing our TPS.

The talents that you dont need that you can steal the points from would be Benediction, Seals of the Pure or Conviction. Dropping all the points from Benediction will require you to place a point or two in Spirital Attunement. If you max out SA you will infact get more mana regen then from 5/5 Benediction and better bang for your buck talent point wise too.

This is the 3.3 guideline for threat talent choice:

•As a general rule of thumb for maximizing threat, fill points in the following order:
â—¦OHWS, Divine Strength, TbtL, and Redoubt before anything else.
â—¦For DUH mobs, Crusade > SotP> Reckoning > Conviction
â—¦For non-DUH mobs, SotP > Crusade > Reckoning > Conviction.

DUH=Demon/Undead/Human/(Elemental) mobs that see a 6% Crusade bonus

Adjusting the points like you stated, I still needed extra points in ret so I could reach the Crusade talent... even removing the 2 points from SA in prot, and using them to reach Crusade in ret, I'm still only at 2/3 crusade... what do you think about this modified spec?

5/5 Reckoning is excessive. 3/5 gives the same uptime.

Benediction isn't good. :-\

Heart of the Crusader is a great talent, and so is Pursuit of Justice.

Imo 4pc t9 was good for 1 fight, Algalon. It allowed you to have bubblewall up for every other Big Bang, meaning you didn't need any external cds to survive it.

2pc t9 is very nice. I still use it on everything except heroic sindy and lk(although i do have the heroic 25 anub versions). 2pc t10 is amazing. The extra dps/tps especially on trash/aoe tanking will make your quality of life alot better.

As to spec, I usually recommend 0/53/18 without reckoning especially if you're breaking your 4pc t9, Divine Sac gives you another cd to use if you find yourself missing your shorter bubblewall cd. Also i generally use Tuskar's boot enchant rather than PoJ so i can pickup imp Might which is nice for buffing 10mans but definitely not a huge deal if you decide not to spec that way.
