Quel'Delar, Cunning of the Shadows for Sub rogue?Follow

#1 Aug 15 2010 at 10:19 PM Rating: Decent
My gal's rogue is getting close to 80 and I've got a battered hilt that none of my other toons can really use and isn't moving on the AH (picked it up cheap to flip it but it's not moving) so thought it might make a nice little surprise for her.

She's only PvPing with the toon and odds are it'll never see a raid other then maybe a VOA pug so this seems like the most epic blade it's ever gonna get (doubtful she'll be doing arena).

Reading on WoWhead though this isn't sounding like that hot an item for her after all.

As a side note, is Subtlety even a good spec for her for BGs?

On the side note; probably. Subtlety tends to be better than Assassination when it comes to pure gankage and all rather than cooldown management and sustained damage (which is what you need in arenas). Whether a sword is any good - you'll have to go Subt-hemo and I'm not sure how well that does these days, and whether it's better than Subt-daggers or not.

Sub is all daggers these days for Ambush because of SD and the annoyance of weapon swapping, well for PvE at least.

You can do Sub without daggers for PvP, especially with a good MH. My MH is mediocre and I still raped people in up to 3/5 pieces of Wrathful.

Then again I played ShS for most of TBC, so I'm pretty good at the spec.

Edit: Here's the spec I was using. I don't play it much anymore, since I like having both variations of PvP Mutilate.
