So I won that little contest thingy, and transferred over my hunter. I figure rather then doing a general question thread I'll focus on more class specific questions, so please let me know if you have any requests that I try something out, or do a specific thing, I'll try to respond with any details I can get.
I'm probably going to start leveling with my druid, but I plan on also leveling the hunter, so let me know if you have any requests. cheers.

When you geth to the point of being able to do it i'm really curious as to how the new focus resource will work in instance/raid settings. I know you won't be raiding, but if you could let me know if it's more than just steady shot spam with the occasional special shot.

I rolled a worgen hunter, and I have to say, the low levels feel like you're a hunter, although I'm completely ignoring my pet, which is all you really can do until level 10 I think.

If you spot the model of the NE starter tiger pet roaming around in the wild please share. From the pics I've seen its a neat looking pet, but I don't want to take up a character slot space rerolling another NE hunter just for one pet.

It can be found in Darnassus, but is (currently) untamable. Can it be tamed on the beta?

you mean to sell off any leftover ammo you happen to have? I'm pretty sure you can currently vendor ammo just fine, and I haven't heard anything about that changing.

It was said that AoE dps will be nerfed heavily because too much of the raid content is just AoE trash. What are the numbers now for Volley? It used to be around 3k (crits) and I'm looking to see how significant of a change there is.
Also... while leveling the new hunter, how does the talent system work? Does Explosive shot at level 10 become OP? I want to know ahead of time what spec to level my next hunter as.

They just removed Volley from the game, so that part of your question is no longer relevant.
As for the essence of your post, it isn't something anyone on this board (beta tester or otherwise) can answer. Balance is completely up in the air right now. The damage done by every ability is different than what it will be at launch.
Regardless, I'd bet BM will be the easiest and fastest to level with (depending on your gear), followed by Survival and Finally MM. But you shouldn't hold that as law. Just my assumption.
