warrior definately blows druid tanking out of the water in the fun factor, but that's probably because I found druid tanking stressful, as I was always rage starved.
What puts warriors above bears in terms of fun is utility. Bash having a one minute cooldown means you don't even need to think about interrupting spells most of the time. You can't Intervene if a mob gets away and starts pounding on a teammate, and while you might get lucky and have Feral Charge off cooldown, there just isnt a Mocking Blow to immediately get that mob's attention, and no Concussion Blow you could have used on the one you tanked while taking care of matters in the back.
Faerie Fire as fairly equal to Heroic Throw in terms of threat, but it lacks the silencing component, and while stacking Lacerates is about the same activity as stacking Sunders, the damage (and threat) coming from a single application just isn't anywhere near that what you get from a Devastate.
Rage isn't much of a problem for my bear unless I'm off-tanking. This is where things can really spiral out of control. No threat - not getting beat on - less rage - less abilities - less threat... This isn't so much of a problem in current raids since those bosses more or less depend on taking turns on taunts anyway, but I was greatly surprised - and disappointed - when I did Patchwerk for the weekly recently and had to work my furry **** off to come and stay anywhere near the much worse geared warrior. (That said it was probably better for ME to eat the Hateful Strikes anyway, but still..)
Out of the 3 tanking classes I have played up to and at 80 so far, warrior wins. DK comes fairly close. Still considering my druid the overall better class though, for the raw(r) power and all the other things besides tanking you can do with it.
A pally (56) is in the works, and I can't wait to see how he will fit into all this. At this early stage, it has been the most boring class to level and play - and to tank with. I expect this to change once I get to learn Hammer of the Righteous at 60 and finally have an attack button to press while tanking, but currently its rather painful to be forced into passiveness between Judgements. A warrior feels more active and involved from early on.
