Ok so for some reason i cant get Rawr to dl.. im on vista i click download my pop up blocker things comes up i click it and click download file... then i cant find where it went it just stays at the screen i clicked Download on... so i was wondering if one of you nice mages would be so kind as to tell me if im gemming right or anything you see that may improve me overall.

My second questio is about the rotation.. is it now ABlast until missles proc then shoot the missles. For instance if the fight starts and i ABx1 and missles proc to shoot them w/o stacking AB to 4?.. or if like i ABx 1 missles proc shoot missles then AB again and if it procs again immediately shoot missles again? I have the 4 piece t10 going to switch to the crafted legs once i get the mats but heres my armory.

appriciate any help thx

Where do things normally go when you download them? It will be where those are--you don't install it.

As for rotation, I think that's basically it. Though, from what I understand, you only do it when your buff is at x0, x2, x3 or x4. I don't know why you don't use it on x1. Maybe it has something to do with the duration.

I've had the same issue. Try clicking on the part across the top that says 'Downloads' and download the Rawr vxxxxx.zip from there under 'Recommended Download'.

And yeah, your rotation/priority system is about right. Depending on the situation you can stack a couple higher if you have a ton of procs going or something, as ABSpam04Mbam I believe is still the top-dps although it is really mana intensive compared to ABSpam0234Mbam or even the basic AB0234Mbam/AM (meaning if you get to 4 stacks cast Mbar no matter what - which is generally what I do, or may go for one more cast as to not blow through too much mana fishing for procs).

thx for the replys the rotation in my head was ABx4 and missle no matter if it proced or not ... today i started playing around with it on the dummy and didnt really notice anything dps wise, i guess i just have to get used to casting mbarr whenever it goes off now.

i also noticed i lost a bunch of haste equipting the 4 pieces of t 10 that i have which ( Head..legs..shoulder..gloves) so i got the abyssal rune to use in place of broodmother and i gotta keep ToR until i get spyglass or somthin.. anyways thx again im on the right track at least.

Rotation for best Arcane-dps is pretty eesy:

AB x (at least) 4, then (if it has procs) AM --> repeat

If it does not proc within 4 casts of AB, there is 2 things you can do, depending on your manaflow and position in the fight.

1. Keep casting AB until it procs, it will cost 5% mana each time you cast it, so it can go quick. You can always decide to do Mbarr when you don't wanna spend any more mana.

2. To manage the manaflow, you can cast Mbarr after 4 x AB (if it doesn't proc). This is a bit less dps, but will manage your manaflow better.

Also, try to keep in mind that you use every mana+ ability you have. The 245 Trinck ToR with 128 int is nice for Arcane mages. When you got 1 rotation done, your mana will prolly be about 80 - 85%, pop a mana-gem to gain a bit. Good thing is, when you use it early in the fight, you'll prolly be able to use it again later on in the fight when the cooldown is off again.

Also, don't be afraid of using Evocation. It will stop you doing damage for a few seconds, but eventually you make loads more damage if you can keep on nuking.

The trick is that at the end of the fight you wanna be close to empty on mana, then you know you gave it all :)

Also keep in mind: Mbarr is better DPS (second), AM is better DPM (minute). So for short fights (or as finishing touch) Mbarr could be ur friend :) For long fights, focus on AM.

And I made a macro and called it NUKE wich helpes me insane on damage, with the 4-setbonus of T-10 I am doing 12k singletarget these days, even better then our imba rogue! Crits of 35k are not uncommon to me these days :)

I pop Mirror Image, then after a few seconds I hit the /Macro:

/cast Ice Veins
/cast Arcane Power
/use ToR (typ the name completely to make it work!)

And for RobenX: Get the headpiece or shoulderpiece first, cuz the pants and hands could drop in VoA.

(edited for typo's)

I'm assuming you meant AM, because you would naturally use MBarr if that procs.

I'm finding that, while Arcane is easy when standing still, it gets harder when moving. You have a very short window to cast subsequent spells before you lose your bonus proc. So, my personal rotation changes depending on the fight.

For example, take Ick in PoS. The fight is decently long, so you probably will Evocate even in good groups. And you need to move a lot (LoS, Mines, charging). When we are in a stand-still portion, I do as many as 6 ABs before I cast AM. If he starts casting mines, I will do 1 AB and a PoM AB (if up), or AB and then cast Abarr while moving. If he starts to cast a Nova, I use an Abarr and blink away to LoS.

But, like I said, if I'm only going to stand still (or move only a little) I will do as many as 6 casts to get an Mbarr proc (7 if PoM comes up, and I won't need to move). Otherwise, I AM. Sucks, but it's better than going OoM.

I also don't have T10, though, and haven't needed to do any really long fights, so I don't Mbarr until I get 4 stacks unless I KNOW I'll have mana issues (like the other day in FoS, where I was doing 5-6K on bosses and everyone else was sub 2K).
