Hey guys as the title says I am gearing up my ele shammy. I've got 3 pieces of the t9 and working on my 4th. I've been farming heroics and what not and looking on atlasloot. There really aren't many good pieces of mail for ele in any heroics including the new ones(HoR, Pit of Saron, and Forge). Seeing as how we can't need on leather or cloth how did you guys get good enough gear to start running raids? Also most mail has mp5...which i've heard isn't great for ele but are these pieces better than nothing? Any gear suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Backs, rings, necks and trinkets aren't the issue because theres plenty of caster stuff everywhere. Its your three non-tier body slots (boots, wrists, belt).

No shame in using cloth or leather. For boots, ToC 25 has a nice piece for elemental dps: http://wow.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?witem=47295. Wrists I'd go w the crafted cloth ones or the mail dps ones from FoS. Belts suck. Nice cloth belt in HoR works fine. http://wow.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?witem=50314. Maybe save frost emblems for the very sexy 261 belt.

Edit: Also, nothing wrong w mp5 if thats the best available. Lotsa belts with mp5 around -- both ToCs, ICC10 Deathwhisper.
