Need a Litte ClarificationFollow

I just hit 80 a few days ago and Im having a hard time gearing up due to having a newborn baby. My play time is very limited, only an hour or 2 a day. So I decided to focus on BGs and arenas. I havent been serious about arenas since I played a Lock back in BC. Ive read Aethiens WotlK FAQ about PvP and started to follow his guide. Then i decided to check elitistjerks. That was a bad idea. Im more confused now than ever.

According to Aethien DW with a weapon chain is best. But EJ says its better to spend the 3 talent points for reduced disarm and use a 2 hander. So heres my question, Is it more of a personal choice? Or is the math better one way instead of the other? I dont have access to Glad weapons yet, so Im wondering if I should stick with my blue staff or if I should farm some 1 handers from the new reg dungeons? And also if it is better to use a 2 hander, should I try to farm a better staff/axe/sword/polearm or stick with what I have till I can get glad weapons?

Here is my armory. SV is my PvP spec. Yes I know I need gems, enchantsand the proper glyphs, Im waiting for a friend to get back from vacation to get them done. And yes I know my MM spec is messed up. I will be changing it back when I get more cash.

Thanks in advance for your advise

Generally speaking, in PvP you want to be able to put out as much damage as possible in as short a time as possible while still surviving. I put a little more emphasis on the damage part than the survival part because I only BG and you're going to die eventually anyway. In Arena, survival is a little more important.

2-Handers will do more damage when you actually have to use them for your Wing Clips, Mongoose, Raptor Strike or Counterattack, so that's why the argument for me is to use the 2-hander. I have no argument for or against Dual Wielding because I don't know what the pros and cons are. It's still functional, obviously but your not going to be doing as much damage with your strikes.
