Hey guys. I am currently a 74 enhancement shaman just truckin along through northrend. I have heard at 75 elemental becomes pretty comparable to enhancement in leveling due to lava burst. I was wondering if this was true and worth it to make a change? I like enhancement but might like a change if the two leveling speeds aren't much different. Thanks in advance.

They indeed are not much different. At 75 you do get LvB and you have enough points for all of the decent talents. It's speed is roughly equal to Enhancement, the balance in Northrend is very well done. I leveled from 70 to 80 as Elemental and had no problems. Just make sure your Ele set is up to par. (As in, you have at least one piece per slot. Quest greens are good.)
Thanks for the quick response. I have been doing a lot more dungeons lately thanks the the new LFG tool. I am wondering also how elemental compares to enhance in dps while leveling up?

I went Elemental from around level 60 and I haven't noticed much difference in speeds. If you have a lot of mobs hitting you, you can go down really fast and cast times go out the window, but other than that, there's not much I'm missing. I usually run in, gather at least two or three mobs, then proceed to nuke them with CL, Fire Nova and Thunderstorm. Every 10 minutes you can round up 10+ mobs and go berserk with Heroism/Bloodlust and Fire Elemental.
