Arcane or Fire leveling and PvP :: EverQuest II

So here I am reaching 64 and wondering if I should go Arcane or Fire to level to 80 and PvP. I like the new changes to LFG and getting groups is easier so I plan on instancing and PvPing my way to 80 where I'll dual spec for end game content and Arena's. Please no Frost suggestions, I've done that for 63.5 levels and I want to try something new.

So wise magi, Arcane or Fire? I'm assuming Arcane but I've heard that fire has come around a bit for PvP with the patch (so I've read in a few posts).

Also a HUGE help would be a spec. Yes I've read stickies and such.

Any time before level 64, I would not have hesitated to tell you to go fire. Now that you're 64(or very close), Arcane Blast opens up one of these for the Arcane build, so I'd say go with that.

Why not frost? The top PvP arena mage is still frost, and frost isn't a joke in PvE anymore.
