My Draenei warrior has hit level 22 which means I should have bought my first glyph seven levels ago. :)

What is the best choice for a levelling Arms warrior? I was thinking either Overpower or Rending.

Well, what is your Parry rating right now? I imagine it's low. That is how large the proc rate will increase (Note, it does NOT mean you will use Overpower that much more).

If you find your Rend wearing more than 6 seconds before you kill a target, you could go with that. If they DO last more than 6 seconds after, then check the damage.

This is the way to calculate Rend's damage per tic:

1) (Main Hand Weapon's Lowest Damage + Main Hand Weapon's Highest Damage) / 2
+
2) Attack Power / 14 * Main Hand Weapon's Attack Speed
+
3) Base Damage of Rend

Multiply that by two to see how the glyph will help.

On top of those two, I imagine Charge and Thunder Clap are possibilities, too. I don't know how much you use them, I only know that you have them at that level. Cleave looks good, if you are the type that fights multiple mobs at once. But you'll need to keep lining them up, as the glyph becomes useless the moment the +1 isn't functioning.

Tough decision. Sorry I couldn't be a lot of help (I haven't actually leveled a Warrior, I was just bored and did research).

Hi idiggory,

Yeah good point, at the moment most mobs are dying before my rend wears off so I wouldn't get much benefit out of it, hmmm.

As I read the tooltip, the glyph for Overpower is based on the mob's chance to parry my attacks, not my character's. Currently Overpower only lights up when a mob dodges my attack, given my lack of expertise I do see a lot of parrys so I think this will be a decent dps boost.

You Overpower with TfB procs. Overpower has a CD. TfB procs are guaranteed.

The Overpower glyph is not very good at all once you get TfB. At level 22 you don't have TfB so use it for know but you will likely want to switch it out when you get TfB all filled out.

TfB is very sexy.

What do I replace it with when I get Taste for Blood?

IDK... How often do Arms Wars use Execute while leveling? That looks okay. The glyph is an extra 30 damage on each for rank 1. Again, don't know if it is actually good or not.

You use Execute when ever you can while leveling.

At later level you get Execute procs but that is far down the line.

Execute would be a nice one nice you get TfB if the Rend one still wouldn't be effective, cause stuff dies to fast.
