Tailoring spec for MagesFollow

#1 Nov 02 2009 at 3:23 PM Rating: Decent
I was looking into my tailoring spec. I am a 450 tailor and am wondering if Ebonweave would be my best bet? I think it would since Ill need the hit at 80 and can upgrade my gear through Raids and ToC after that but I am new to the Mage so Ill defer to those with experience.

It doesn't matter as the ebonweave gear is BoE anyway. I went spellweave because it sells better on my server...

I went spellweave as well, but that was mostly because I liked the stats of the Spellweave gear better. Honestly either spellweave or ebonweave will be good for you at 80. Spellweave has the haste and ebonweave has hit, both of which are necessary stats for mages.

Look at what sells higher and pick that. The only thing specialization gives you is an additional cloth when you make the specialty cloth. You'll be able to make all of the patterns.

So, for example. I'm now ebonweave. When I make mooncloth or spellweave, I get one of each. I get two each time I make ebonweave. You know this already...

Sell the extra cloth you make and buy the cloth you need. You'll turn a profit and get geared up in the same amount of time.
