ok, newbish question... humor me plzFollow

so, first and foremost, I hit lvl 70 today (no lich king expansion, so YAY!! my cow is maxed out... fer nows). My first toon, was bouncin all over hell for about 20 minutes...

anyways... on with the thing thats been driving me crazy...

was doing the quest chain for the key to shattered halls tonight with 2 guildies, a lvl 68 shadow priest, a lvl 70 hunter (the pet tree) and myself the kitty doodad (feral dps). We wound up having to swap their low lvls for 80s because, well, the fel reaver wiped the floor with us. 2nd time around we had me, the priest, and a lvl 80 holy/ret mutt pally... we stumbled across a fel reaver sentry... not knowing we couldn't get the key quest from it, away we all go...

now, its dead, i look at recount, and, well, it tells me the pally was doing 652 dps with total dmg of just over 381.8k, that I was doing 514.1 dps with just over 330.6k total, and the priest (lol) with 253.2 dps and total dmg of 120.5k .... that just looks wrong to me, how did i do almost as much dmg as the lvl 80 pally? not even really the question....

keep in mind i'm a complete newb to the whole dps thing, but with my armor and lvl (link below for armory).... is 514.1 good? decent? I know I need better gear, I'm working on that now... i know i'll be stuck at 70 for a while, so i figure this gives me time to figure out whether or not I can pull off the dps thing, or if I should to heals

edit: also, nother question.... does anyone have the druid 202 guide thinger from before lich king? I tried the link, and it took me to a blank page.... :'(
