Weapon Enchants? :: EverQuest II

If I put Fiery (or any other enchant) on a weapon â€“ would it have any effect in Cat/Bear form?

Iâ€™m not sure.

I can't speak for every enchant (never tried fiery), but in general 'chance-on-hit' affects should still work in cat/bear form. My bear and kitty frequently benefit from Mongoose procs.

See, that's my problem - I've searched the net a few times and gotten conflicting answers. Some people say No to the "chance on Hit" type enchants and Yes to the straight stat boosts... I guess i'm gonna have to keep looking...

Previously, chance-on-hit effects on weapons would not work in form. Chance-on-hit effects on armor would (see 2t4 bonus). Several patches back (3.0 maybe?), we were allowed to benefit from chance-on-hit effects from weapons. Mongoose and Zerker are currently the 2 top weapon enchants for feral.

Always remember to check the dates of posts and articles (and if it doesn't have one, there are more trustworthy sites out there).

Someone saying no 3 years ago? Keep looking. Someone saying yes 2 months ago? Your chances of having correct info are much better.
