Has anyone else noticed that while dual-wielding, both your weapons have to hit on Plague Strike for the disease to be applied?

I've had some difficulties with this as it will still use up the Unholy rune on the Plague Strike, but the Blood Plague disease won't be applied. Seems a little odd and hopefully not intentional.

I ran H UP, H ToC, and H VH today.

my opening is IT>PS>OB, did not notice any issue like this.

Seems odd. I'll have to pay closer attention to make sure. But the way my UI is set up, I can see my diseases on target w/ little effort.

How do you know it's a problem with DW, and not simply that you missed? It's a special ability, so should be subject to only the 8% hitcap; and unless I'm missing something entirely, your runes should get used whether you hit with an ability or not. Mana classes still spend the mana even if they get a miss/resist, after all Smiley: wink

The only other possibility I can think of is that it's the spellhit cap at 17%(?) instead.

I have a hit rating of 265, so my special attacks should hit. Usually it's the off-hand that misses, so either they did something wrong when they designed Threat of Thassarian, or it's supposed to have an increased miss rate. In any case, if the off-hand misses, or either of the two hits is a miss, Blood Plague won't be applied. Which seems like a bug to me.

I've never had an issue applying disease as dw. I'm hit capped, over in fact and I've yet to see it not be applied unless I just flat out missed before I was hit capped.
