Alright, I apologize. I am only at level 15, but after seeing the talents in the other 2 trees, I thought it may be interesting to try something other than BM. I know it is the "fastest" leveling spec for hunters, but I worry because it relies too much on the pet. I know the pet is a staple of the class, but I thought a little variety may be good. So far I put 5 points in Imp Aspect of the Hawk and one in thick hide. I was wondering if it was feasible to put my points instead into (5) points into lethal shots, and the other point into Improved hunter's mark.

I am sorry if I offended people by asking this question here, I had read the post at the top of the page, but was just looking for a bit more depth. I know it is still very early in my leveling career, and I love the hunter because of the variety of partners you can tame, and really, compared to the other classes, leveling one is very relaxing. I can level and also focus on mining, skinning, first aid, and cooking. Well anyway, thank you. Also, I didn't put my armory because I have so few points, and not really any special armor so if you still think it will help, I will put it up, thank you.

I think you basically answered your question in your latest post, your only 5, you have 6 points to spend. You really can't go too wrong at 15, you can put points helter skelter and it still wouldn't make too much of a difference at 15, just try and follow a tree, or read posts about how you should spend your points when leveling. It's not that difficult to find.

The answer you are looking for is yes BM is probably the better tree to level in and although the others are good at mid levels and above they are not so good at first.

Keep your points at first in one tree as what you need to aim for is the higher level talents of whatever tree you decide on , I will say i have tried all the trees and it is still possible to level ok in any tree . Feel free to try out each tree but every time you reset your talents it costs extra gold and can get expensive.

I go BM because of the mend pet and other pet bonuses as you can create a killing machine or a tank pet as even playing the huntard way your pet does almost as much damage as you do which you already know , it is also fun to play with the other trees just do not expect them to feel that much different at low levels and every time i have tried MM or SV at low level i always end up going back to BM .

I guess i am a BM hunter at heart and always will be but i am sure there are others here that also dislike the BM tree and can give their views on the other trees for levelling and i hope better than i can explain them.
