Pfft, everyone knows you Feint Nova. Save CloS if you're in a PuG and people suck so you don't eat CLs as you Vanish to reset.

You might want to reread the notes. The only thing it does is prevent any damage you take from knocking you out of Vanish/Stealth for one second after you use Vanish. It doesn't make you immune to damage so if an AoE attack would kill you under normal circumstances it's still going to kill you when you Vanish after the change.

It fixes the "bug" by circumventing the lag that was causing it.

Besides, if you want to dodge Lightning Nova and the like, that's what Cloak of Shadows is for. You can use it more often and it lasts longer.

Edit: And just now looking at the updated patch notes, the effect has been lowered from one second to a half second.

Cloak of shadows is only up every other nova. Thus my reasoning behind its use.

Pretty amazing change for rogues. You could have 10 dots on you, half a second is still easily enough time to vanish > cheap or garrote without timing it between the ticks.

Change reverted. Is blizz trying something else or just decided to fubar vanish again?

Good going, Blizz. Stealth is back to having near zero defensive benefit. The 1-second (even the half second) window of invincibility was the best way to circumvent the lag that was causing the problem so I can't imagine what else they could be doing that can fix the issue without breaking something else in the process.
