On the subject of rotations...Follow

Yes, we know that you use the spreadsheet for your rotation.

I'm talking smaller questions such as:

You're Mutilate. SnD has more than 80% time left, HfB is up, Rupture has 4 seconds left. You have just gotten to 4 combo points.

What would you do? Do you wait the 4 seconds until rupture falls off and refresh it? Or do you Envenom and build combo points for refreshing Rupture next finisher?

I've been doing a mix of both the above, the former more than the latter just to see what difference it makes.

Thoughts? Also feel free to post questions of your own.

Would depend if you energy cap or not waiting for Rupture.

If not, I usually wait and Rupture then get 2 Muts off

I'm of the mind that (at least depending on your gear) the increased poison proc rate from the Envenom buff coupled with keeping your SnD timer going is going to be more DPS than simply refreshing Rupture. If you have the t8 4-piece bonus it might be a different story and/or you have to change targets a lot or move away from what you're fighting, but without the 4-piece I think you wind up with greater overall DPS by favoring Envenom and only using Rupture as a supplement.
