Hello Warlock Folk, I have seen hunters solo instances where the mobs are green to them. Is this possible for a Warlock? I tend to think that anything a Hunter can do a Warlock can do... but we do not have Feign Death.
Yes, you can certainly solo lower level instances. We have the ability to heal our voidwalker and ourselves. We can regenerate our mana and our health while doing damage. If things get out of hand, we can reduce threat with Soulshatter. We can use Sacrifice to give ourselves a really nice shield.
You will need to learn to watch your agro, but start with dungeons a good bit below you, and work your way up. It could be fun.
For beginning dungeon soloing, I would start with a dungeon where the mobs are 10 levels below you. Then adjust the level of the dungeon up or down, based on your success.
I would solo an instance mainly for the challenge. There are too many easier ways to make cash for most people.
Soloing an instance isn't ideal to do, but if you want to try it, aim for lower lvl instances.
My lock is lvl 80 with a few epics and I only recently tried to solo Mana Tombs and beat it. Was fairly easy. "Hardest" part was the trash mobs. Bosses were simple.
At lvl 32 I doubt you could solo much of anything, but maybe trey small, like from WC or RFC.
Soloing instance isn't really worth the time. You'll gain XP quicker just grinding quests. Sure it's possible for the most part but it's more trouble than it's worth.
At level 80 though you'll be able to solo everything pre-bc (including some of the raid bosses) and a lot of the outland instances.
