Realisitic?Follow

This is kind of a stretch here, but I wanted to know from the more experienced mages on here.. How realisitic is a continuous hot streak?

I am assuming of the 2 critical strikes needed for HS, the instant Pyro crit counts as one? So could you not have Hs after Hs with repetitive crits.

I'm not saying 100% crit is realistic at all, but I am asking how many times could hotsreak proc within let's say 2 minutes, if your crit was higher in the percentile?

Pyro does not count for Hot Streak.

The only real continuous Hot Streaks come with the T8 4PC (I've had 5 in a row so far).

edit: you may just want to make a PaladinIRL q/a thread instead of making one for everything :-)

I was just about to make the same comment Anobix. I was searching the forums and saw all these posts by PaladinIRL and lol'd on the inside.

Would that many crits in a row be a good thing? Would we miss out on to much ignite damage since they would never get the full ignite ticks?

the amount of extra damage that you get from the crit modifier more than makes up for the lack of ignite damage. Although I don't know how well it will work come 3.2 as they are making LB crits do ignite + proc HS.

How could you have to many crits? Honestly, I don't know whats better than seeing crit after crit after crit with my 20/51/0 build!
