T9 set bonuses.Follow

Hunter T9 2P Bonus (Class: Hunter) -- Reduces the focus cost of your pet's abilities by 50%.
Hunter T9 4P Bonus (Steady Shot) (Class: Hunter) -- Increases the critical strike chance of your Steady Shot ability by 5%.



Blizzard has totally and completely lost it.
2pc doesn't do anything, at all, for any spec, 4pc gives a little over 5% additional damage to an ability that makes up 10% of our total damage giving a 0.5% dps increase...


The positive side to this is that we can just look at stats and completely ignore if it's T9 or not Smiley: grin

I think it's truly amazing that they managed to give us 2 bonuses that together give less benefit to dps than 1 point in a talent you can get at lvl 10
(Focused Aim, Lethal shots, imp. tracking.. hell even imp. IAotH might give more dps in one point than the T9 2pc and 4pc setbonuses combined)

A+ for originality though, T9 4P is exactly the same as the T5 4P.
At least they can still [Ctrl+C], [Ctrl+V] after all that smoking.... /sigh

Well, they sure seem to be enjoying themselves. Smiley: tongue

I really shouldn't complain, though. I've been bored to death with my hunter lately anyway and now I'm leveling a prot warrior to replace her as my raiding toon, so the chances of me actually getting to use even the 2pc bonus there are slim beyond imagining.

Charge + Thunderclap = FUN. It's like having a pet gorilla pre-nerf, only I'm the gorilla. Smiley: nod

I personally was amused that the 4T9 bonus is (currently) identical to 4T5 :D

On a side note, there's a really nice set of badge ArP shoulders coming, as well as a badge ArP hat that unfortunately probably won't replace T8, as Marks will still need its 2 pc.

Edit - and a badge ring that kicks the pants off the ring off Vezax.

Now that I think about it, maybe Blizz just wants Steady Shot to be useful again, and is going to conjure up something equivalent to the T6 4-piece and Ashtongue trinket for us all to use.
