I'm out of Naxx and into Ulduar now, and it's really time to optimize my dps. I'm curious as to what macros the rest of you use.

I'm arcane, but I hesitate to use Icy Veins in a macro. It seems that the minute I use it a Shaman pops blood lust. I'd rather have more individual control over that spell. But I do need to condense spells ... Ulduar is requiring so much movement and concentration on things other than the boss .... when I hit, I need to hit, slam some damage, and get back to moving around. (Hodir comes to mind)

I'm playing around with slow for utility, but I'm not sure which spell to tie it to. Right now it's tied to ABarr, but that seems to throw off my timing.

Only macro I use for DPS is one to pop my mana gem(2pc T7), my first trinket slot(doesn't have a Use trinket anymore, but it used to), Icy Veins and Combustion all at once. I have a second one that pops everything but the IV portion. Sometimes I like to have a more controlled approach and pop things manually, but for the most part, I like having a one button option for everything I need.

I don't know why you wouldn't want to use IV + Bloodlust, they do stack, so I don't see any reason not to.

I only use a couple of macros. One is for arcane blast so that it doesn't cast when channelling (for arcane missiles) and my pop all cooldowns macro which is, sadly for Fireball, just mana gem when I think about it. Combustion isn't very good anymore so I put points into the Student of the Mind tree instead for more static crit + mp5. For Arcane I have two, one for PoM + Arcane blast and one for Arcane Power + Mana Gem + Icy Veins

Eh .. I feel a bit more comfortable with two separate bursts of speed. But I don't really have mana issues so I could try it.

Right now I just have the POM/AB macro. I suppose I do need an all out power macro that includes the rest.

IV + Bloodlust makes Arcane mages shudder with orgasmic delight.
