Hey all,

(Long time lurker, first time poster)

I have been playing my DK more agressively recently and was wondering what more i could do, (bar gear which will come in time) to increase my dps. I am blood spec, 51/0/20 if i remember and have been hitting 2.2 - 2.5k in heroics recently - for you experienced DK is that roughly what i should be hitting? I have just realised my expertise is shocking so, im going to be trying to get that up first without gimping hit. Also i need to replace Glyph of Obl with Dark Death? Plus a few enchants are missing XD

My rotations are IT - PS - HS x 2 - DS - Dump(can be RDW whith Hysteria on me or DC) plus ghoul if up - IT - PS - HS x 4 - Dump.

Also after looking at both beimba and wowheroes I noticed Naxx 10 man shows up as where I should be now, is that an accurate projection? Never raided so no idea how these sites work.

Many thanks to feedback,
Wotsit :)

One thing Blood needs to do above the other two trees is try and time their dumps to come after their DSs. This is hard to show in a rotation, because your RP will rarely return to 0 at the end of two rune refreshes. But, overall, your rotation is fine--just try and think about that in terms of dumping times.

I think that is about average for entering Heroics. It isn't great, but it should be fine for your gear levels.

I know you said not to bother commenting on gear, but a few things are bothering me (irrelevant from the idea of worse gear = worse DpS).

One thing you should REALLY do is change your sigil back to the old one (Dark Rider?). It parses MUCH better than the additional crit, from what I recall.

Also, your hit is actually too high. You want 8.02% Hit (well, the cap is 8.00% but the closest you can get without being under is 8.02%). You are almost a full percent over that, and you have actually gemmed for it. You only need 263 hit. Change at least one of those hit gems to an expertise one. After that, you can try and
get hit as low as possible some other way.

You have 29 hit to lose (as much as you can).

Remember, just because an item HAS a socket bonus, doesn't mean you need it. You have a crit gem to get some resilience in your legs. Get it out of there! Put in an Exp gem. Crit is good, but exp is better right now, and resil is near worthless.

Just bring a critical eye to that stuff. Even if you don't update any pieces, regemming could help you a lot.

Thanks for the info idigg!

I am going to get some more emblems from 5 mans for a ring and trinket to replace the resil one. I am still far over hit cap, but think thats down to my +hit trinket, although this seems to be a good thing at the moment so i can stack exp gems :) (currently at 20, i believe 26 is the cap).

Have managed to hit 3k on a few boss fights with you advice in a couple of 10 mans, but is a widely varying range from 2.5k-3k~max. I know most of my current gear is pvp, and looking to swap it out as upgrades come. Once i get myself a few more titansteel bars im going to make the other titansteel helm, although not really sure its worth it at the moment, at least while i am using that +hit trinket.

My current goals are to work on quests/dailies and rep for shoulder and helm enchants and also find a way of getting naxx 10 man achievement so people can accept me in a pug XD.

So i guess i welcome any criticisms that anyone has. I will be trying to get some new trinkets/rings to reduce that 10% hit XD. Also have been trying out both sigils, need to do more testing on that one.

Cheers,
Wotsit
