Just a yes or no. I know the Cat's attack speed is 1.0 (according to WoWWiki).

Does it attack with both paws, or just one? (I presume 1, hence the low attack speed, but I'm trying to calculate if I want Crusader or Greater Agility on my weapon).

Crusader's proc chance is 1.667 per hit, and Agility is a passive +25 AP with an additional 1-2% crit and change (falling as I level).

So, if I get a chance to proc for TWO hits every 1 second, it would likely be hard for Agility to compete. But, if it is only one, I'll have to do math (lol).

Thanks.^^

[EDIT]

Did some LOOOOOSE math, and there is a 64% chance to get at least one proc per minute with that slow an attack speed. That seems pretty decent... Now I just need to figure out whether or not the passive AP and crit is better than huge burst AP.

Only one number flies up, so it's only one hit.

Not that anyone cares, but I landed on Greater Agility.

Looking at ABILITY modifiers, the extra 200 AP wasn't that impressive. And, since it only came in bursts, it was only so-so. I'd take 1/8th of that, with passive crit, easy.

200 was only like an extra 10 on rip, 2 on Rake's direct damage and 36 with its DoT, and only while it was up.

SO.... yeah.

I've always felt that ferals should have a deep talent to DW fists.

That is all.

Good day.

My guild continues to think the hit cap is 9%, and we often have "discussions" that consist of me saying "No it's not." and someone trying to provide anecdotal evidence that I'm wrong.

A couple days ago, someone actually told me "Regardless if what the hit cap is, it's still higher for you because you're a feral druid and they technically duel wield."

I cried a little on the inside.

Two reasons:

1. Seriously. Just GLANCE at an internet resource.

2. Dual.

Er, the dual/duel thing was me. He said it in vent. I've always mixed the two up simply because I'm constantly conerned I'm messing it up so I always mix the two.

These people are damn good at what they do otherwise. I'm not sure why there's this constant confusion. It's mainly one person now saying it's 9% simply because he gears for 8% and missed once when he was certain a draenei was in the group. The rest just kinda ignore me. They at least have the spell hit right.

What class is he? Is he sure he missed with a physical attack and not a spell? A few classes have both, but it isn't always apparent it is different.

People also often look at WWS when talking about these things which summarizes ALL manner of non-hits in one category unless you delve further in; I've seen people say the same thing ("I MISSED WITH 8% SEE") but when you actually put the right columns in the report you can see that the "misses" are usually immune hits or something similar.

Next time he refutes it, tell him to post a WWS and point out the exact time index in the log where it says "Player misses target".

The miss % column, when you open it up, includes dodges, parries and misses. This does cause a lot of confusion.

Feel free to direct them to http://www.wowwiki.com/Hit or my Feral Druid Numbers thread at EJ if they think druids are somehow different to the rest of the world :)
