So I've been looking all over, probably not hard enough. Anyways, is there a quest for Swift Flight Form? I don't wanna wait until I have 5k G to buy the epic flying and mount. Any help would be much appreicated.

Let me rephrase. I know there WAS a quest. I'm not sure if it's still available and how to start the quest chain. Thanks again in advance.

Cenarion Refugee in Zanga marsh.

Go there.

Well you need to buy epic flight first then you get a letter or something.

Loganaar, in the Moonglade starts the questline or any druid trainer really.

Note: To start the Swift Flight Form questline, you must have 300 riding skill (5k) and level 70.

WoWWiki: Swift Flight Form Questline

Or you can wait till after level 71 and after you have purchased 300 riding skill (5k), you can simply buy Swift Flight Form from the trainer. Although it is really recommend that you do the questline at some point as it's highly praised a being a damn fun line.

Tough luck; you need epic flying training before the quest opens up. Sorry :-/

The quest line is great after you can get the 5K for sure but afterwards is where the most difficult step comes in to play; Anzu. I myself am only just ready to get in to Heroic Sethekk Halls to get my trinket from "Vanquishing the Raven God" even though I am pretty sure from what I have read that it was nerfed severely. I think I am almost more excited about the possibility of the Anzu mount than getting the trinket, and I am sure I will run it many times in hopes of acquiring it.

Earn your wings brother, but in order to do so you must find your gold niche.

Although you can purchase the form without a quest. To actually purchase it from the vendor it requires the prerequisite of you buying 300 flying.

On the upside you are something like 900g ahead having received basic flight and form practically free.

You can start your Argent Tourney dailies if you haven't yet they give good money and are easy and close together.

It's a terrific quest line, one of the best I've played in the game. But realize that Heroic Sethekk requires a faction grind which is tedious and otherwise somewhat useless. It's the only thing that kept me from completing the chain. And if you're not soloing it, everyone in the group needs that rep.

To be honest after leveling through OL after WotLK hit I had a bit of lower city rep, and it only took a couple of solo runs through normal S Halls and some other instance whose name I forget right now to get to the required rep.

Soloing Anzu has proved to be a problem though.

I don't know that I would have called the quest line fun personally - the fight that required Boomkin skills sucked balls for me as a feral - I finally bit the bullet, respec'd Boomkin to finish that (couldn't get any help because the dumbass guildmaster kept telling people "Nah, its easy to solo that fight - let him experience the joy of soloing the quest"). >_<

I do still recommend doing it though, if only for the ability to farm the raven mount when you hit 80 (as a feral its cake farming that place - not sure for resto/boomkin though) - still have yet for it to drop though. >_<

To be fair, the boomkin portion of that quest is really easy :-/

Does help to have some off-spec gear, but a respec isn't needed if you do.

Edit And I totally agree with it being worth it for the farming. 31 times, no mount yet for me :-( But I make almost 50 gold each time through, so it's not a huge loss :D

That's the operative part for calling the boomkin part easy - I saw too many ferals in my guild end up getting converted to healing trees after they picked up an off set "for just in case" so there was no way in heck I was about to risk that.

As such, I had zero casting gear and at level 70 with a 100% feral spec and zero spell bonus, that part sucks balls big time. O_o

Well, by off-spec I just meant random quest rewards and AH BoE greens. Just some standard spell power stuff (and mana regen I remember was useful). I think I still used some of my PvP gear because it has spellpower on it and I was too cheap to buy any more :-P
