Healing UI?Follow
What User Interface do you find most useful for a Healing Priest.
HealBot and PitBull are the ones I have experience with.
Is there anything else out there that is easy to use and actually helpful in game?
I know these things change over time and come/go in and out of favor.
See the thread labeled "GRID or..." that I just posted. I started using GRID very recently and now that I am beginning to understand I am really liking it. Finally set it up and used it properly for a 10 man last night and it was amazing how well it worked for me. I still have not added on a ton of items to it yet, as I am slowly getting used to it first, but GRID is one of the better ones out there.
I use Grid.
I like it so far. As I am only level 53 or so I haven't done much raiding on this toon.
But ya Grid is pretty much awesome.

The one issue I have with Grid involves the pet units. On the Raz fight, the MC'd mobs move around so much when they are releasing and reacquiring, I find it difficult to sort through the boxes when there are pet classes in the group. Normally, the MC targets don't need too much healing (unless they are controlled by me or someone like me!), so it is not much of an issue.
EoE takes some effort in P3 as well. I am usually tasked with dedicated healing, and when Maly focuses on someone, it can take some time to find them in the pet bar. As long as we are grouped together, I guess it doesn't matter who I target as long as someone is getting the full AoE heal. It usually works out well enough.

Play around with Grid/Clique in a battleground and see if you like it better than Healbot
Personally I don't like right clicking, left click middle click for diffrent heals
I like just using my keybinds and mouse over macros

I am currently using grid, but find it too slow for fights with movement.
Gird shows my target as in range, but when I go to cast it says out of range, its the same for when players are in range yet Grid shows them out of range.

This is because you can change how grid determines what 'out of range' is. Thwere are options in the settings to change the range at which it determines when a unit is out of range.

Why would this make it show someone at 50 yards as in range and someone at 30 as out of range for a few seconds before it catches up?

Same. I'm just more comfortable using a mouseover macro and my number bar to heal. I have tried to use both healbot and grid, since so many healers swear by it, but it just isn't for me. If you can take the time to become comfortable with it I have no doubt it will make you a better healer :)
Thanks for the input guys.
Beginning to think maybe PitBull unitframes with mouse-over macros on the left side function/number/qwert keys is the most simple/workable solution for 10-man raids and 5-man groups.
Still need to work on a solution for 25-man stuff.
