Ring/Switching Gear QuestionFollow

I recently just acquired Ring of Northern Tears and another ring from Naxx. You can see them here in my armory:

My question is this. Should I shell out some cash and have Titanium Spellshock Ring crafted? And what do I replace? I would assume the Ring of Northern Tears...but then I am no longer hit capped. Should I then get the hit trinket from Heroic VH and swap out my Egg of Mortal Essence?

Just trying to see what you guys think. I need to get more stamina for Ulduar. Thanks!

The hit trinket from H VH is handy, I would put that over the egg. If you get that trinket, I would replace the Ring of Northern Tears with the Titanium Spellshock ring and keep my hit as close to 289 as possible.

A few other things..:

1- Your glyphs seem to be healing glyphs, you should probably replace them for shadow with The glyphs pf Shadow, Shadow word: pain and Mindflay (though I currently use the SW:D, but that's a personal choice and I'm probably going to replace it)

2- The best Meta gem for shadowpriests at the moment is the chaotic skyflare diamond (+crit and +3% crit damge) yeah, getting the blue gems into your gear is kinda annoying, but it's worth it. Just throwh a couple green/purple gems in for it.

3- You may want to re-embroider your pants for +50Sp and Spirit over Stam (we get more out of spirit then stam), which leads me to my next question...

4- Why do you want more Stam for Ulduar? Not to sound mean, but you still have a fair ways before you're geared for Ulduar, and I have never heard anything about Stam being need for shadow priests. If you are referring to the vehicle portion, that goes off of item level, not stamina.

5- If you're running H VH for the trinket, the bracers the Cygnosia drops there are some of the better bracers you can use for a while. I'm running naxx 25 and I still use them and I'm have trouble finding something good to replace them with.

Baka,

Thanks for the feedback. I've just begun building a shadow set and forgot all about the glyphs, so that was a very good point. I will re-embroider my pants as well. I wasn't sure which thread to get, maybe I got the wrong one! I also did have those bracers in H VH on my list of potential u/g's. When I commented about stamina it was just something that's on my radar. I realize I need many drops from Naxx 25 before I can worry about Ulduar. It just seems right now my hp's are a little low.

Glad to help. I was just curious as to who said you should get more stamina. We typically don't have health issues because even if we're using SW:D in group, we're constantly getting healed from VE. At the moment I have about 14k health unbuffed and if I die, it's usually a one-shot (by alot). Here's my link if you want to see what I have: Linky I'm still getting geared for Ulduar myself, and I certainly won't call myself pro, but I do have a fair idea of what I'm doing ^_^.

Just to make sure, as a tailor of your skill, you should be able to embroider you pants with 1 eternity thread for either +50 spellpower and +20 spirit or +50 spellpower and +30 Stamina. I always carry around at least 1 thread when I'm raiding so that if an upgrade drops I can use it right away (I also carry around some gems and enchants, but I'm neurotic about being prepared). The embroidery that gives stamina is more of a PvP enchant in my opinion.

This is gonna be a noob question, but it's really late. I got a Chestguard of the Lost Conqueror token in Naxx 10 last night...I do want the Heroes' Raiments of Faith? The Plagueheart is for Locks?

You can only exchange your tokens for priest gear. However, there are 2 sets for priests, a Holy(healing) set and a Shadow(DPS) set. Disc gets that shaft on t7. You go to the Cloth armor merchant in Dalaran and she sells your choice of chestpiece for for token.

Baka,

I understand all that, I just wanted to make sure I got the right one. :)

I think I should be getting the Raiments of Faith?

Right now I would be hard pressed to sugest that your replace your current chest, you need a bit more hit.

But I would go for the shadow set, overall the stats are geared for shadow. The other set is mostly for holy.

Ok, but the shadow set is called, "Heroes' Raiments of Faith" right? That's what I need to verify 100%.

I can't remember, sorry, just look over the bonuses of the item, it will have a reduction to the Mind blast cost for 2 pieces.

or look it up on Wowwiki, that will say

You also have 2 play hours to return it

If you guys don't mind me asking for more gear advice...here's my armory. I've made a few u/g and am looking for more feedback.

I still suggest the Chaotic Skyflare Diamond and getting 28 spellpower on your gloves. I would replace the runed bloodstone with a forest emerald cut for +8 hit and +8 spirit and then throw a purple +9 spellpower and +8 spirit gem into a socket with a runed bloodstone. This will put you at .02% under hitcapped, but help improve overall DPS, in my opinion.
