Enhance PvP and Hit RatingFollow

I just recently hit 80 and decided after gearing both specs for my druid, that i didnt want to raid with my shaman. I switched from ele to enhance. Since im a leather worker i made myself the Swiftarrow set, and a friend gave me 2 saronite beatsticks (swing speed is way to fast, but better than my old lvl 70 pvp axes). I started running WG and battlegrouns to farm honor and marks, and found that i miss a lot. So my question is how important is hit rating in pvp? and as i upgrade to the hateful set should i start gemming for +hit?
