Check the new sticky that isn't a sticky yet.

Read Me: Druid 202

We have sticky now. Well 75% of a sticky.

Its late. That is all I have for now.

Well after reading the Druid 202 I think I might not have enough hit although I dont seem to miss much and still pull average 4k dps in Naxx 25 (Always have to heal in Ulduar). Am I stacking to heavily on ArP because of my low hit?

Alright,

So your spec is fine, I got something very similar for DPS myself.

You gear could definitely use some upgrades, but if you stick in Naxx25 for a few weeks you should get what you need. Imo, right now you have too much vendor/rep gear. It's not that bad, but there's always at least one upgrade in Naxx.

The area where you're really lacking at the moment is gemming/enchanting.

I know with 3.1.1 there's been a lot of talk about ArPen becoming *the* DPS stat. It's not always true and it kinda depends on your other stats. ArPen is only worth it if you can get 230+ and if you don't gimp your other stats in the process. I personally kept gemming Agi because in my current gear I really don't have much ArPen.

You mentioned Hit. It's true your Hit is pretty low and you should try to get a bit more. You don't need to be hit-capped but try to get close-ish, it'll increase your DPS and ease your rotation.

One other thing that I find striking: Remember that you can put any gem in any socket. Also, socket bonuses are sometimes not worth using a sub-par gem. Best example I can give is your necklace. It's a very good DPS necklace, but you gemmed it with Stam for the sake of the +8 AP bonus. So your total DPS gain is that, 8 AP. If you had put 16 Agi instead, you'd forfeit the extra 8, but that's still 16 AP and some minor crit. So in that case, forfeiting the bonus is a gain DPS-wise. So yeah, always evaluate if the bonus is worth the sacrifice.

For the Glyphs I would suggest trading Berserk for Shred, but that's just me. I think Berserk is too situational and you'd really get the most out of it if you had reached the "stacking ArPen" point with the Shred idol.

Yeah, Shred is definitely WAY better than zerk; Shred is basically two more ticks of Rip for 'free' as you'll be spending that energy on the Shreds anyway.

Buy the Shred Idol also if you want to switch to ArP. Lowers the threshold considerably.

Also OoN is not the best of DPS staffs. What other weapons do you have laying around?

Here is my druid with DPS gear on (cept the shoulder's, not sure what happened there hehe). I can usually push 4K - 6K DPS depending on the fight.

My bear tank in kitty clothes...

Since it's my off spec(makes it hard to get all the best goodies), it's all from Naxx25 and lower which makes it all fairly easy to come by since Naxx is pugged all the time.

What is it about OoN that makes it not a good dps staff.

I have the shred Idol so I will switch to that I actualy just picked up the rip one and was testing it

Journey's End, or the staff from Kologarn would be your better bets.

I think I have JE and OoN, OoN for sure though yeah is more tankish.

Here ya go.

That is just Naxx gear.

I could also add Black Ice and maybe some other 10/25 T7/8 feral weapons that will beat OoN.

edit:

OoN has to much itemization points spent on armor and stam is the answer.

I lost roll on Journey's end last night QQ

Thanks for all the input hopefully my guild can keep me feral for the next few weeks in Naxx and maybe I'll get lucky and be the only leather wearer in Ulduar again this week, and maybe something will actually drop. XD
