Hello, i have an alt paladin that is nearing 80 fast. I'm pretty much going to solely be using him for pvp/arena. I was looking at some of the stickies and noticed the majority is PVE oriented. I was wondering if anyone would be kind enough to point me in the direction of a basic pvp subject or forum i can look into so i have a starting point with rotation/buffs/ect. Thanks for the help.

I'm not really into PvP much, but I hear the website Arenajunkies mentioned fairly often.

There is also a PvP forum on Allakhazam, housed in Theophany's journal. You might try looking there for a few tips, although I will warn you that he has very little patience with people who ask questions that can be easily answered by an alla/google search.

This: http://www.wowhead.com/?talent#sZVG0GMZxfrxrIuGdIbsz:j0Mm0c

Is my prefered build for 2v2 with a rogue (righteous vengeance interferes with blind switches).

Did something happen to make Seal of Command obsolete these days?

Whenever I get attacked by level 80 Retribution Paladins, it's always Seal of Blood/Martyr that shows up, not Seal of Command.

I think it's probably a combination of Seal of Blood recoil damage being greatly reduced (so it's less of an obstacle in pvp) and the changes to Seal/Judgement mechanics.

Judgements were weakened a lot, so the SoC auto-crit is worth a little less. Seal damage was buffed to even out ret damage (make it less omg-bursty) so the seal of blood damage on every swing, divine storm and crusader strike is really good. You can mitigate what little recoil there is with sacred shield and instant flash of lights.

SoB now does very little recoil damage, JoL + DS will heal enough to counter the recoil damage. With the glyph you add a lifetap effect that gives you good amounts of mana.

SoC crit judgement was effectively nerfed by reducing the stun talent so that stuns are on a 40 sec timer now instead of 30 sec. With the glyph the seal part will do almost as much damage as SoB, but always less, and no lifetap effect. But SoC judges for a little more damage than SoB, and the forced crit combines well with full Righteous Vengeance, which most PvP paladins will avoid because it will interfere with Repentance and other CC effects.

Also, you play on a PvP server. Maybe you're talking about paladins that attack you while you're leveling up. It is possible that they have chosen SoB for leveling/grinding and their choice of seal for that is SoB.

If you ask me, I'm still sticking with SoC simply because the difference in damage is small once glyphed and SoC still has a stronger Judgement.
