Tidal WavesFollow

Sorry if this has been brought up already but I just noticed something with the tidal waves talent.

The tool tip in the talent tree states that not only does it lower the casting time of LHW and HW, but it gives HW a 20% healing buff and LHW at 10% buff. I was testing this out today while I was bored and found out that neither HW or LHW get the added benefit. The buff says that it's only giving you the lowered casting time as well. The in game tool tip on the talent tree as well as talent calcs on websites have it giving you the healing buff though.

Actually managed to talk to a GM about this today and learned that the talent is split. The first part is a proc on CH or riptide that gives you the reduced casting time. The second part about the 20% and 10% healing increase is a passive buff on all HW and LHW casts, tidal wave proc or not.

How did you think it was working? It is a passive boost to the coefficient.

Interesting thing to note from EJ:

Quote:
as of patch 3.0.3, the proc does not function as a spell haste effect, in that it reduces cast time but not GCD. Therefore, its benefit to LHW is less than what it appears on paper. It is currently unknown if this behavior is intended.

By reading the tool tip it sounded like you were to get the healing buff on the proc along with the decreased cast time, not as a passive ability. That's what some guildies and I were thinking.
