I'm sorry if this is already covered but I couldn't find anything on it in the stickies or anything. I already have a dual specced pally for tanking and healing and I want to be able to put out some huge dps numbers when I'm taking a break from him. So i figured I would go either mage or rogue. I've got a 48 mage and a 28 rogue. So I've been able to play around with both a little.
The thing is, my rogue dies all the time. I spend most of my time running back to my corpse, I have a pretty standard combat spec right now, but just can't survive if I'm taking on more than one mob or if they are too many levels higher than me. This isn't the case with my mage. My mage can knock back, freeze, slow absorb, too many things, that just keep him alive. I know it may be early for my rogue to judge him based on his squishiness, I dont have all the cool moves yet. But I'm just wondering if there is a way for me to go about my business without dying so much. I love the thought of playing a rogue, but can't seem to get the hang of it.
Right now I usually go into combat by ambushing followed by SS or riposte and finishing with eviscerate. This will take most mobs pretty easy, but again not if they are teaming up or just too big for me, like 2+ lvls, something everyone should be able to manage.
Thanks for the help, if there is any hope for me.
