A question of SpiritsFollow

I'm close to dinging 80, and am will be healing heroics with some RL mates. I'm wondering about spec, specifically whether to spec into Guardian Spirit, or Imp. Divine Spirit (for the SP boost).

The groups consists of Tankadin, Retardin (1800dps), Ele Shammy (>2000dps) and Boomkin (2500dps). All pretty experienced Heroics wise, but they have trouble getting a good healer for runs (I think they're hoping a little too much!). I leveled Holy from about 40-70, and have healed most of the major instances in vanilla and TBC, as well as a few of the WotLK ones. Shadow atm for leveling speed (they're nagging!).

So, my question is; which will i get more from, Guardian Spirit or Imp Divine Spirit?

Over to you guys :) thanks in advance...

Get guardian spirit. Improved divine spirit doesn’t stack with the spellpower buff you get from your elemental shaman’s flametongue.

What Emmits said. Very niche question where that little detail actually really matters, glad to have seen it once.

Guardian Spirit is a fantastic spell for Holy and also can help give you some breathing space while you learn. Enjoy and good luck.

It makes for an awesome "Oh ****!" button. Several heroics recently have had ... less than stellar ... tanks, so I've had to pull it out. It's saved MY hide several times, much less the tank's.
