Returning to WarriorFollow

Like the title says, I have finally returned to my Warrior. Sadly, I had pretty much abandoned my Warrior as of the expansion, not so much out of disgust, but boredom.

I had left him at 70 with crap gear, and a Arms build. So, I thought long and hard about spec choices, and opted for Protection. Why? Well, it seems that, as mentioned in other threads, there is a shortage of tanks; well everyone ran off to play a DK, no surprise there.

So, after gleaning what information I could, I settled on a pure Prot build. To my delight, and shock, I can still solo quite well, and it is very difficult for me to die( of course, there is always that 80 that comes along and disavows me of that notion ).

So far, I have tanked Nexus with no problems, beyond a over-exuberant DK trying to be the DPS lord, and snatching threat on occasion. My defense is worrying me, however. I am sitting at 498, level 72, wearing mostly Cobalt, and a few quest pieces. I have 20% dodge, and 15% block and parry, respectively. My question is, is this average? Bad? Good? I have so little knowledge of the new mechanics ( yes, I read the sticky ) I am uncertain about what defense at my level I would need to make me the " un-crittable" tank. Or, do I not need to concern myself with that at this point.

All in all, I have enjoyed my return to the Warrior class. It is also nice the the Protection tree can be used to quest, solo, and generally have a decent pace for experience. Thanks for reading.

At this point, being uncrittable isn't an issue (worry about that when you hit 80).
Your avoidance is average, I don't see any problems about tanking stuff until 80.
And yes, soloing as a warrior is quite fun :)
