Instancing for An enhancement ShamanFollow

#1 Mar 03 2009 at 6:27 AM Rating: Decent
As much as I enjoy instance running, I also value the ability to solo efficiently, as Enhancement seems to deliver in comparison to the other trees. Which is the best way to go about both being awesome during instances, while still keeping a build healthy for solo play? ALso, which attributes should I focus on, agility and AP for damange or Stamina for survivability? I've heard now that INT is useful, and this character (49 orc) is from pre-Lich, so its got str and stam and a little agility. Basically what I'm looking for is good gear setups - i think I have a handle on the talent tree

If we're talking strictly PvE, there shouldn't be any discernable difference between an instance and a solo build. Yes, you could probably switch a few points around to truly maximize solo play, but in all honestly, Enhancement Shaman solo so well anyways that any difference is going to be negligible at best. So the best way to be awesome at both is to just focus on instancing and let what solo-ing will be be.

PvP is a different story. So if by "solo play" you mean "PvP", then you'll want to trade damage for survivability at every possible point. Of course, your instance play will suffer more noticeably as a result.
