yeah but thanks anyway
Dude, you're backed into a corner. There's not much else you can do without professions. If you don't want to take up a profession that's just the way it is: killing mobs and doing quests (which you need to do to get to 77 in the first place, so it's two birds with one stone). If there's a quest item you can't use, look up the one that NPC's for the most and get that so you can just vendor it.
And it
doesn't matter if sellables have dropped in price a little bit or a lot. Gold is gold, and it adds up over time as long as you don't go off spending it on everything. An item doesn't need to sell for a massive amount of gold to be considered a money maker. Browse the AH on your server and find something with decent demand. If the demand is there and the item isn't terribly hard to obtain, go farm it. Small amounts of consistent gold is always going to be better than trying to bank off of big-shot items that most people aren't going to want or be able to afford.
There's no magic way to make gold. You can't make any without a little bit of work outside of just buying it. If you aren't willing to work for it you can go ahead and enjoy your 60% flight speed because you aren't going to afford epic training otherwise.
