it doesn't matter in the end. As has been stated on another post that I think you made regarding a tauren, just play whatever looks cool.

It might be outdated at the moment but it answers this questions perfectly.

I can see why this is sub default but thought of a good reply anyway.

First thing is decide if you want to look at a male or female rear end for 80 levels .

Second and more important decide if you want to play Horde or Alliance or both.

Third is as you must be new to the game get and create hunters in all races possible and get them all to level 20.

Fourth then you can decide for yourself which is best for you because we cannot do that for you as there really is so little difference now .

I just wish the undead could be hunters then you can guess what i would roll straight away.

Undead smell too bad the pets keep leaving them.

Nah, you just can't have one-legged hunters.

Pets like bones, so they steal the undead's leg.

It's like a bad Looney Tunes episode!

Hehe , it would still be fun though if the undead hunter was able to tame some of the undead beasts that are in the game , and the loss of a few bones could be put right by scavenging new bones much like their feeding on a corpse.

There are a few undead-ish pets (wolves, bears, and boars) that can be tamed, there's even one at a fairly low level (Deathclaw? in the Draenei starting area). I suppose if one really, really wanted to play an undead hunter, it might work to make the deadest looking Blood Elf possible (pale skin, etc), claim to be particularly well-preserved, and tame only undead pets. Seems likes it might be fun to RP. :)

Dwarves make the best hunters.

Simple.

Obviously I am biased, but having taken a few races to 20+ I can tell you that Stoneform and the added Gun racial make it the best choice. Some will argue that racials make little difference but any advantage you can take you should.

However if it something nice you want to look at then make it either a female Dreani or *shudder* Night Elf.

LOL

Oh, and Draenei > Dwarves from a pure PvE dps point of view.
Nothing beats an Orc though if you want to min/max for both PvE and PvP.

Teehee. Sorry to the NE lovers. Its the ears!! I cant handle the ears!! Flapping here and there all over the place. I though Elves had nice pointed ears, not something that looks like a tongue got implanted on the sides of their heads.

Dranei horns are okay-ish but still give me the willies.

LOL totally of topic!!!
