You like gearing for too much hit?
Edit: And Grim Toll is an absolutely terribly Muti trinket, seeing as about 70% of your damage ignores armor.
No, but I didn't have much choice until I get more hit gear, as the previous trinket gave 55 hit rating and without it I would be below the cap.
Its at most a temporary solution until I get New Bracers, Legs and Feet and Fury of the Five Flights.
You can't really gear for too much hit as our white hit cap is always unreachable anyway, and that accumalates for a big chunk of my damage when raiding.
You obviously have no clue about rogue mechanics.
If you have 383 hit rating, you have TOO MUCH.
The only hit caps you should be remotely worried about hitting are the specials cap, which is 8% melee hit (8.2% according to some people) and the spell hit cap (for poisons) which is 17% spell hit.
Now obviously the poison hit cap is the higher one, so that is the one we will focus on.
17% to hit
-5% from Precision (you do have 5/5 Precision for PVE right?)
-1% from Draenei racial
-3% from having either a shadow priest or boomkin in the raid
---
8% spell hit
It takes just under 27 hit rating for 1% spell hit. 27 * 8 is 216. We'll round up to 220 just to be safe.
Therefore it takes no more than 250 hit rating to reach the poison hit cap. This 250 hit rating will also give you an additional 6.71% melee hit rating on top of the 5% from Precision which puts you at 11.71%, over the melee specials hit cap.
Hit rating past the poison hit cap is worth less per point than ANY OTHER DPS STAT except Armor Pen for a Muti build.
Unfortunately for you you only have the 1 agi/hit gem in your gloves, so you can't drop too much hit rating without getting new gear. However when you do get a new piece of gear I would highly recommend comparing it to the piece you have now and not take the hit rating into account.
Also, for god's sake man, get a new helm. It's been shown through testing that a meta slot is somewhere around a 100 DPS increase.
