Hi! I recently tanked most of Nexus as Unholy, and found that I really enjoyed it. Therefore, I decided I would respec to frost and try my hand at tanking that way. I've got my talents done according to a build I found here somewhere, but I'd still like to have those more knowledgable than myself review that and my equipment and give me a pointer or two on what to do to reach my full potential at my current level (74). Thanks!

Edit:

I recently decided to try a blood tanking spec, and after a run through UK last night, it seems to work well. I did fairly well for my first time, but I'd still like to hear what people have to say about it.

You're definately on the right track. The only suggestion I have is if you're very serious about tanking, just take those points out of Icy Talons and use them for Killing Machine or just spend the next 5 points into Killing Machine. The thing about Icy Talons is that if you're going to spec into it, you might as well get Improved. It will increase your haste by 5% at all times which helps more with KM procs. Those may seem like strict DPS talents, but critting in Frost Presense = more threat.

I'm a big fan of unholy tanking as you have a a bit more overall mitigation.

As for frost you can take what you want levelling but here are a few things to remember.

frost aura does not stack with ANYTHING. It is generally the weakest among the resistance bonuses. it is decent for 5mans.
acclimation, very limited use, however in the fights it is useful it is rather nice to have (saphiron comes to mind). but in general you aren't going to see this up very often or at least enough to stack.

If you want to you can put those points in other places and not notice a difference in general.

Okay, that's a handful of talent points I can reuse :). Awesome. I do like frost, and I can't wait to use it in an instance! I have to run UK today anyway!
