I'm a feral tank and I'm currently running with The Undeath Carrier - if the Origin of Nightmares comes up, is the extra armor on it worth blowing the DKP for bear tanking?
How's about the Journey's End - while I'm sure its a nice upgrade for DPS, it seems like a downgrade for a bear due to less AGI for dodge and AC and less STA for health?
For you bears, what's the better chant too while we're on the subject - good old +35 AGI or does mongoose proc enough to make its burst defense bonuses worth more then the steady defensive bonuses of +35?

Mongoose procs a lot in bear form.
this enchant can proc multiple times in a row even on 2h weapons. It does not appear to have a hidden cooldown. The proc is most likely normalized to 1ppm, but not strictly bound to it.
The 1 ppm is based on weapon speed. You attack every GCD. This cheats the 1 ppm system so it is usually up.

Not anymore, no. But the other stats on most of the 'tanking' weapons still make them preferable, and 700 armor is still 700 armor; not much, but 700 > 0.

Granted its more a DPS staff then a tank staff, but I think it deserves to be on the list.

It replaces the AGI with STR - unless things change dramatically then it really isn't as good a staff as Undeath or Nightmares since it lacks crit/AP and dodge/armor of the other two.
