Well you caught me, lol. I still troll around and look at the various posters to see what's going on. I know what ret 80 is like, I have one lol. Albeit, a rather fresh 80, as I don't have much time to play right now.
My journey through Northrend was rather slow, I went through all the low level areas first, starting at the bottom of the continent and moving my way up until I got the quest achievement and completed all the quests in that zone. By the time I hit 80 I was just finishing up Dragonblight (I did that one after Sholazar Basin *shrug*) so I still have 3 zones to finish. I've started doing Icecrown and I'm enjoying doing those quests. Shortly after hitting 80 I got the money to finally buy my epic flying training. I never spent the time or effort to get it, but I decided I didn't want to be 80 for long and still chugging along on my 60% mount.
Anyway, that's pretty much where I'm at now in Northrend, still haven't done a couple of the 80 instances, let alone heroics/raids etc...
Sorry I haven't been posting since my last one, just didn't want to start posting again until I was 80 I guess... I dunno. Also been pretty busy with life in general, and I've been trying to put WoW on the backburner in favor of that.

A worthwhile "excuse", for lack of a better term, indeed :) I know some people that have a very hard time with that.
