This is probably a dumb question. I don't really need to ask it here, I could wait until I go home and check for myself. But if it works out, it might be useful to anyone else who wasn't sure/didn't know/never crossed their minds.

The totem shaman equip in their relic slot, each one of them has a quote under it saying Counts and an Air, Earth, Fire, and Water totem.

So does that mean I can get rid of the 4 totems sitting in my bag?



Never really thought much about it before. I'm not hurting for bag space or anything, but I was browsing the drops I could get for my shaman, and I wanted to see what totems I could get soon(the one linked in the example) and that was the first time I really noticed or paid attention to the yellow text.

Yup, 4 free bag slots. I just noticed this the other day too. Dusted off my shaman & started leveling him and was looking up new totems when I saw some comments that made mention of this.

I put my old totems in the bank and viola! works like a charm.

But, you can't delete them.
I have mine in my bank... So they still take up space somewhere...
If we have a "totem" equipped... Why shouldn't we be able to delete them from our bags entirely?!?!

Nope...
They can't be deleted or destroyed in any way.
Put 'em in your bank until Blizz lets us get rid of them.

I keep all 4 in my backpack (top row). I'll never get rid of them (unless I have no choice). They've been there since the beginning. I think I got earth at 6 (or was it 4?). Fire at 10, water at 20, and air at 30. So they've been there since level 30.

Well that's good to know. Even though I've got bag space up the wahoo, I think I'll still put them in my bank.
