He does, and then the level difference sets in. Getting past 370 on him is a chore. Hunters can autoshoot their way through a quiver while going afk, their pet dealing with the odd stray mob. But a Rogue can't. I spent 196 throws getting from 369 to 370, and I've only got 200 throws before I have to go and repair the Thrown weapon.
So he's basically out of the question. Even for Hunters that would be a very lengthy process. Still, Hunters can level their ranged by farming something ad nauseum and switching weapons for skillups. As a Rogue, I don't have a tank to keep anything and length to keep throwing at it. So, in the end, leveling Thrown, Crossbows, Bows and Guns for Rogues is quite a bit of a *****. I have to get an instance group to agree to me just sapping the pull, then standing back and throwing until the bossfight starts or something like that, I guess. Guns, Crossbows and Bows aren't too important. But Deadly Throw requires thrown skill, and that means I need to get that skill up to max pronto.
Ah well, I just thought I'd ask here, since Dr. Boom was a staple amongst the Hunter community for such a long time. Perhaps someone here would have noticed a similar mob in Northrend.
