I have come across other hunters (my wife included) who were turning out the most aweful dps immaginable at 80. I am talking under 1k when they should be over 2k easily. I relaized as I sat at her toon to see what she was doing wrong, that she was still using her old steadyshot macro with the pause to prevent the steady from cancelling the auto.
I have noticed after mentioning this error to other hunters (wether they admitted to fixing it or not), their damage improved noticeably right afterward.
May seem like a simple thing to lots of folks but just thought I'd toss it out in case it was helpfull.

You wanna talk oldschool, where's Caldone these days.
Those were good days. Remember him insisting on playing MM? He'd be so happy these days. I still am at this website all the time, but most of my time is spent in the asylum or the OoT.
I've been mostly playing my druid, and so I'm not up to snuff with the latest info on my hunter. I try to play him when I can but having a healer and being good at healing means that people mostly ask me to play the druid. /sigh My overall playtime is also way down.

Well, I had to check out for a while. My old PC wouldn't run patch 3.1 effectively. I was down to 3-4 fps and you just can't play at that rate. It had been up at 8-10 which was livable and didn't get people killed. So, I was on the wait rack whilst I saved up for a new PC. Now... well, it's much better! Nice to run full widescreen res, have 8 processors and RAM enough to deal with just about anything... ahhhhh.
So, I'll still be hanging around a bit again. Now I gotta update for 3.2... ugh.
